Description

1. The post heading has to describe the item or the service advertised/posted, no company names or urls are allowed. No unnecessary characters are allowed in the heading. The item or service has to be described in the heading text, it is not allowed to merely link to another page. Post texts are not allowed to be copied from other advertisers, these are protected under copyright laws. It's not allowed to use search words or keywords in the post text. Only ads in Bahasa Malaysia and English are allowed.

Categorising

1. The post has to be placed in the category that describes the item the best (the post will be moved to the right category when possible). Goods or items that do not fit in the same category must be placed in separate posts.

Only one item per post is allowed

1. It is not allowed to place more than one item such as lighting, furniture or kicthen utensils in a single post.

No duplicates

1. It is not allowed to place posts with the same item more than once. Delete the old post before you place the new one. Consequently, it's not allowed to place post with the same items in different categories or states.

Links

1. Links in the post have to be relevant to the item advertised. Same general rules for the post applies also for the link. It is not allowed to link to another auction or classified site.

Images

1. Images in the post have to be relevant to the item advertised. Company logotypes are prohibited as images. It is not allowed to use images from other advertisers without consent. These are protected under copyright laws. Images showing models displaying underwear or bathing wear are not allowed.

Pirated goods and forgeries

1. It is not allowed to post pirated goods and forgeries of e.g. branded products, CD/VCD/DVD, computer/game-consol software. All applicable products must be certified original by the advertiser.

Illegal goods

1. Post featuring goods that are prohibited from sale according to Malaysian law are not allowed on MHD. For a list with examples of illegal product, click here.

Offensive content

1. Posts or images that can be perceived offensive to ethnic groups, individuals or public figures are not allowed.

Prohibited goods and services

Unrealistic offers

1. MHD reserves the right to deem what's unrealistic.

Bidding and auction

1. We do not accept any posts related to auction or bidding. We only accept posts with fixed priced and negotiable terms.

If a post is rejected due to breaking the rules, the advertiser/seller will be given the opportunity to change it. MHD reserves the right to decide whether a post breaks the MHD rules and spirit. The rules are constantly updated and may change over time.
